Bespoke group holidays for women and family trips for mums and kids.

Vietnam family trip:
12 April – 19 April 2025
$2500 AUD per adult, $990 AUD per child

I love Hoi An and can’t wait to share
this adventure with you

Have you been dreaming of an overseas holiday with your kids but are feeling a little unsure about how to do it? Would you like other mums and kids to travel with, so you can get a break and your children can make friends? Do you crave time to relax and not to be the organiser and entertainer all the time? Do you want to expose your children to other cultures and see them learn and grow in a new environment, becoming more aware and understanding of the world around them?

If so – then this holiday is for you! Join me in Vietnam for a bespoke holiday where just about everything is included, there’s a fun packed schedule with enough down time to relax (and have some child free time too!). And all you have to do is book the flights to get there – after that, just relax.  I hope you can join me xo

Join me on an eight day, seven night adventure to beautiful Hoi An, in Vietnam. It’s going to be a fabulous trip and a chance to spend time with your kids and explore a beautiful part of the world, with lanterns and a beautiful ancient town, rice paddies and buffalos, lovely beaches and delicious food.

We’re going to stay in An Bang, just 10 – 15 minutes from Hoi An, at a hotel right on the beach. It’s such a beautiful spot. And it’s hot! April is a great time to get some warmth and enjoy the beach and the sunshine.

This trip to Hoi An is designed to be super easy – we are based in one beachside hotel for seven nights, so there’s no long bus rides or travel days once you arrive.

We have a program that’s a great balance between activities and down time, with fun cultural experiences and adventures kids will love because all they have to do is be kids.

And we’ve built in some downtime for mums too – we know some great babysitters and, conveniently, there are some cracking cocktail bars just down the road from the hotel.

If you’re looking for a holiday where you can experience a different culture together as a family, have a whole lots of fun and just enjoy being away and exploring then this is for you.

We are open to eight families – all you need to do is complete the form and pay your deposit below.

We require a $500 deposit to hold your spot, 50% paid six months out and the balance 90 days out from departure.

WHERE ARE WE STAYING?

We have booked an entire hotel right on An Bang Beach – it’s a great swimming beach in April, where you’ll see basket boats (used for fishing) pulled up on shore, and can order beers, food and coconuts from local stalls along the sand. There are a number of beach bars with live music and in An Bang village there are massage salons, cocktail bars, local restaurants and you can visit the morning markets – and so much more.

The hotel has its own pool and grassy play area and rooms are spacious with ensures and balconies/sitting areas.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING.

I’m so excited for this itinerary! Each morning there’s breakfast and each day we have activities and we’ve factored in some free time too.

We’re having a dinner on the beach on the first night so we can get to know each other, and on the first full day we’ll do a cooking class and a basket boat ride. The kids will have a pizza night at the hotel and while they’re being looked after we can sneak out for a dinner down the road (or stay in – it’s up to you) and a few drinks.

In the following days we’ll explore Hoi An town and release wishing lanterns on the Thu Bon River. We will visit Hoi An Impressions Land and watch the incredible Hoi An Memories show – it’s an amazing insight into Hoi An’s history and an absolutely stunning show that is not to be missed.

There’ll be a lantern making class for the children, and a night out for the mums, and a fun beach day with banana boats and games. We’ve also included a bike ride through the rice paddies, lots of delicious meals and a visit to the local friendly buffalo.

It sounds busy, but there’s time to chill. And just let us know if you want to add on extra days by the beach once the formal trip is over and we can arrange.

FLIGHTS.

Our trips are land only so you will need to book your flights to Danang where we will pick you up. Currently there are no direct Danang flights from Australia but you can book on Singapore Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Qantas, VietJet, Sccot and Jetstar via Ho Chi Minh or Singapore, and via Kuala Lumpur with Air Asia. Prices right now are from around $800 return.

If you’re coming from elsewhere try to fly direct to Danang, or via Hoi Chi Minh, KL or Singapore.

When it is

Are there age or other restrictions?

What does it cost?

What is included?

Once you land in Danang almost everything is included:

Activities include

Flights

We’ve left the flight bookings to you, but you MUST arrive in Danang, Vietnam before or on the day your tour starts – just let us know your arrival time so we can arrange pick up. I suggest arriving a day or two early if you can.

You’ll also depart from Danang – an afternoon flight is best if possible, or you might wish to stay longer! Let us know and we can extend your room.

Visas

You will need to organise your visa before you fly. We do it online here which is much cheaper than going to the consulate. Print your visa when you get it. You will need to show it at check in and when you arrive into Vietnam.

Insurance:

Everyone who comes with us must have travel insurance. I recommend Cover-More insurance  – I’ve used them since 1997 when I first went backpacking and they’ve always been amazing. I recently used Southern Cross Travel who were also excellent when my daughter Emmie was sick in Japan. You can use any insurance company you like – just make sure you read the PDS and make sure you’re well covered.

Terms and Conditions:

Super important – please read our Terms and Conditions here.
