If so – then this holiday is for you! Join the fabulous Jess in Vietnam for a carefully crafted holiday where just about everything is included, there’s a fun packed schedule with enough down time to relax (and have some child free time too!).

Join Jess on an seven day, six night adventure to beautiful Hoi An, in Vietnam. It’s going to be a fabulous trip and a chance to spend time with your kids and explore a beautiful part of the world, with lanterns and a beautiful ancient town, rice paddies and buffalos, lovely beaches and delicious food.

We stay in a private hotel in An Bang, just 10 – 15 minutes from Hoi An, footsteps from the beach. It’s such a beautiful spot. And it’s hot! April is a great time to get some warmth and enjoy the beach and the sunshine.

This trip to Hoi An is designed to be super easy – we are based in one beachside hotel for six nights, so there’s no long bus rides or travel days once you arrive. And if you want to stay longer just let me know and I can arrnage it for you.

We have a program that’s a great balance between activities and down time, with fun cultural experiences and adventures kids will love because all they have to do is be kids.

And we’ve built in some downtime for mums too – we know some great babysitters and, conveniently, there are some cracking cocktail bars just down the road from the hotel and more massage places than you can count!

If you’re looking for a holiday where you can experience a different culture together as a family, have a whole lots of fun and just enjoy being away and exploring then this is for you.

All you need to do is complete the form and pay your deposit below.

We require a $1000 deposit to hold your spot, 25% nine months out 50% paid six months out and the balance 90 days out from departure.

WHERE ARE WE STAYING?

I have booked an entire hotel right on An Bang Beach – it’s a great swimming beach in April, where you’ll see basket boats (used for fishing) pulled up on shore, and can order food and coconuts from local stalls along the sand. There are a number of beach bars with live music and in An Bang village there are massage salons, cocktail bars, local restaurants and you can visit the morning markets – and so much more.

The hotel has its own large pool  and rooms are spacious with ensures and balconies/sitting areas.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING.

I’m so excited for this itinerary! Each morning there’s a delicious breakfast and each day we have activities and I’ve factored in some free time to hang by the pool, get a massage or hit the beach.

We’re having a welcome dinner on the beach on the first night so we can get to know each other, and on the first full day we’ll set off in basket boats through the coconut forest  – spinning here is so fun and now there are karaoke baskets too.

In the following days we’ll explore Hoi An town and release wishing lanterns on the Thu Bon River. We will visit Hoi An Impressions Land and watch the incredible Hoi An Memories show – it’s an amazing insight into Hoi An’s history and an absolutely stunning show that is not to be missed.

The kids will have a pizza night at the hotel and while they’re being looked after we can sneak out for a dinner down the road (or stay in – it’s up to you) and a few drinks.

There’ll be a conical hat painting class for the children, and an awesome cooking class at Red Bridge cooking school.

We will take a short walking tour of Hoi An Ancient Town and ride bikes ride through the rice paddies and visit to the local friendly buffalo.

And we will eat lots of delicious food – and don’t worry if your littles are fussy,  while we would love them to try new food, there are lots of local options. It sounds busy, but there’s time to chill. And just let me know if you want to add on extra days by the beach once the formal trip is over and I can arrange it for you.

I'm Jess.

I’m a teacher and a mum of two young boys. When you experience a variety of places in the world, you have the chance to learn about the people, their culture, their history and traditions. Travel is so important to me because I want my boys to be open minded and understand people from all over the world. For me, nothing is more exciting than experiencing a new destination. I want this thrill for you too!

Insurance and visas

Everyone who comes with us must have travel insurance. I recommend  Southern Cross Travel Insurance who were excellent when my daughter Emmie was sick in Japan in 2024 – they covered a week’s accomodation, all meals transport, medical and new flights home. You can use any insurance company you like – just make sure you read the PDS and make sure you’re well covered.

You will need to organise your visa before you fly. We do it online here which is much cheaper than going to the consulate. Print your visa when you get it. You will need to show it at check in and when you arrive into Vietnam.

Terms and Conditions:

Super important – please read our Terms and Conditions here.
