Make new friends and have the best time together: your itinerary

DAY 1

Arrive into Da Nang Airport and meet your transfer to the Watermark Beachside Resort in An Bang. Enjoy our welcome drink and relaxing one hour massage, sunset cocktails where you’ll meet your fellow guests in person, and a welcome dinner on An Bang Beach.

DAY 2
After a breakfast and a morning stroll around An Bang Village we will take a shuttle to the coconut forest for a leisurely ride on the basket boats. We will glide though the beautiful forest, watch a local fisherman throw his nets, and watch the basket boats spin to Gangnam Style (optional to join in!)

After lunch overlooking the rice paddies we will return to our hotel. If you’re interested in tailoring you can organise it now with our tailor. Later that afternoon will take a shuttle to the Ancient Town for a cocktail at Mango Mango overlooking the river. We will watch the Ter Dah acrobatic show that tells the story of indigenous Vietnamese tribes, and eat dinner at a fabulous riverside restaurant. We will take a boat on the Thu Bon river to release a lantern, visit the markets and take our special lantern photos.

DAY 3
Today we set off on a three hour fancy shuttle tour of Hoi An and surrounds. We will glide through the rice paddies and stop at the organic vegetable village to learn traditional farming practices and organic vegetables and herbs. We will cross the Cua Dai Bridge and visit vantage spots around the area and stop for a delicious coconut coffee.

After lunch we will spend a few hours rest by the pool or beach, and take a sunset beach walk before visiting one of my favourite family restaurants for dinner.

DAY 4
Another fabulous day with a cooking class at the famous Red Bridge cooking school. The tour starts with a walk through the Hoi An fresh market to learn about produce, followed by a 30 minute boat ride to the cooking school. Enjoy cooking up four fabulous dishes and eating lunch overlooking the gardens and river.

This afternoon we will experience the relaxation of sound bowls while floating in our private swimming pool followed by dinner.

DAY 5
Today we will take a walking tour of Hoi An Ancient Town including ancient assembly halls and homes. We will try coconut coffee at one of the most popular rooftop cafes, followed by shopping at local markets and boutiques and lunch at one of Hoi An’s most popular restaurants.

After lunch we will have cocktails by the pool while we paint our own conical hats, followed by a beachside dinner.

DAY 6
This morning we will take a simple aerial yoga stretch class using the silks to help us release tension in our hips and other tight areas. If you’re up to it, join some more advanced stretches using the silks. We will then visit Miss Cheung for the best pho in Hoi An.

We will have a late breakfast followed by a banh mi in the early afternoon. You may wish to head to the beach or spend some time relaxing by the pool.

Later, enjoy a massage, mani-pedi or shampoo at the local salon. We will then have a relaxing supper of spring rolls at my favourite rice paddy cafe while we watch the sun set over the green fields.

DAY 7
Today after an early breakfast we join the luxury Anantara Vietage for a six hour journey through the Vietnamese countryside in our luxury train carriage. The journey includes free flow drinks, a three course meal and a 15 minute shoulder massage.

On arrival into Quy Nhon at 2pm we will transfer to the Anantara Quy Nhon Villas luxury resort. Relax and enjoy your luxury accommodation and private beach before meeting for dinner

DAY 8
Enjoy your breakfast and time by the pool and beach before departing for your flight

Let me know if you would like to extend your stay at the Anantara!

Vietnam Women's Adventure

WHO I AM

I’m Evie, I’m a travel obsessed solo mum who loves helping women travel and explore the world with – and without – their kids. You can check out my travels at www.mumpacktravel.com or at my Instagram page at @mumpacktravel

WHERE ARE WE STAYING?

We stay in our own private hotel right on An Bang Beach – it’s a beautiful swimming beach in March, April and May,  where you’ll see basket boats (used for fishing) pulled up on shore, and can order drinks, food and coconuts from local beach restaurants and bars along the sand. There are a number of beach bars with live music and in An Bang village there are massage shops, cocktail bars, local restaurants and you can visit the morning markets – and so much more.

The hotel has a private pool and rooms are spacious and well appointed. A delicious a la carte breakfast is included and tailoring can be organised on-site.

In Quy Nhn we will stay at the five star Anantara Quy Nhon, an exclusive resort on a private beach.boutuque

I recently returned home from the girls' trip to Vietnam & wish I could go back! Evie planned an amazing combination of activities & relaxation time. We had so many laughs & I made great friends and memories. It exceeded all my expectations.

The best girls trip I've ever been on

Visas

Australians need visas for Vietnam. If you’re joining from other countries please check your requirements as it is very strict and if you don’t have your visa you may not be able to join your flight.

You will need to organise your visa before you fly. We do it online here which is much cheaper than going to the consulate. Print your visa when you get it, just in case. I have shown mine on my phone, but it is good to have back up just in case (like your phone battery dying etc).

Insurance:

Everyone who comes with us must have travel insurance. I recommend Cover-More insurance  – I’ve used them since 1997 when I first went backpacking and they’ve always been amazing with help and quickly paying claims. You can use any insurance company you like – just make sure you read the PDS and make sure you’re well covered.

Please read our Terms and Conditions to ensure you have the best cover as we need everyone to be secure and protected on our trip.
