Sunday 5 April – Monday 13 April 2026
Nine days, eight nights (land only)
Mum and child 6+ = $4000; extra child = $1500
Let’s go to the Philippines! It’s one of our favourite places – we love the crystal clear beaches, the stunning blue waterfalls, the ubiquitous palm trees and the aqua water. The people are incredibly friendly, the food is fabulous and a holiday here means you settle into island life where everything is slow and easy, and you relax as you enjoy nature and exploring.
In Cebu we will zipline and swim, jump and slide down the beautiful Badian and Kawasan waterfalls, swing from ropes and snorkel with turtles and schools of millions of sardines.
In Siquijor we will stay at our favourite resort, Coco Grove Beach Resort, and snorkel in its marine sanctuary, visit the stunning Cambugahay Falls, float through the underground spring, visit the Balette tree and dangle our feet to be nibbled by fish in the water and watch the most stunning sunsets every night.
Just about everything is organised and paid for – so you have time to connect.
Once you land in Cebu just about everything is included in your trip. From airport transfers to all meals and accommodation, and all our fabulous activities and transport. All you’ll have to bring is spending money for shopping or anything extra you want to do, for a couple of meals during free time, tips and for drinks and snacks you may want to buy.
This is because I want mums to have a trip where you’re not the one organising everything. I want you to be able to relax and enjoy and be looked after. And I want this extra time to be spent with your kids. You’ll love seeing them jumping into the waterfalls and exploring nature, snorkeling with turtles and swimming and having fun n the sun while you’re free of worry and responsibilities and to just spend the time together.
When Emmie and I were traveling together full time, most days I didn’t have a care in the world. It was just us having fun, exploring and being silly. I felt young and energised again, I didn’t have a to do list in the back of my mind I was constantly scanning. It was the best time!
I want this for you too.
We’re staying in two beautiful hotels just footsteps from the beach – and Coco Grove Resort in Siqujor is one of our absolute favourites. I know you’re going to love it.
I’ve organised lots of fun activities to do together, and if you love palm trees, waterfalls, the outdoors and beautiful beaches this is the trip for you.
The trip starts on Sunday 5 April 2026 in CEBU and finishes on Monday 13 April in DUMAGUETE. I suggest flying in a day earlier to get over the travel tiredness, and can add an extra room night on for you, or you can stay a night in Cebu (where you’ll fly into) if you like. You might also like to stay a few days after the trip so let me know if you’d like some recommendations.
Once you land in Cebu almost everything is included:
We are staying in two beautiful beachfront hotels. Coco Grove Resort in Siquijor is one of my favourites anywhere in the world, it has so many pools and is right on a marine sanctuary where you can spot turtles! You are going to love it. In Cebu we will stay in Moalboal in more humble accommodation right on the beach with a fabulous swimming pool and close to cafes and restaurants.
Our trips are land only so you will need to book your flight into Cebu in the Philippines and out from Dumaguete.
Many flights arrive into Manila and so you can add your Cebu and Dumaguete legs to this using Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines – we’ve flown with both and they’re great. If you fly via Singapore or another destination you’ll just need to add a domestic leg from Dumaguete. Please let me know if you need a hand with this.
You can search for the best prices on Skyscanner or go direct to airlines.
5 – 13 April 2026. I suggest arriving a day or two earlier if you can to adjust to the timezone and get over any travel tiredness!
This is a mum and kids trip. It’s best for kids over six years old as there is a lot of swimming.
I’m a mum of four with a lifelong love of travel and adventure. For about 20 years in my early career, I worked as both a travel agent and in regional aviation. I’ve been lucky enough to explore many incredible destinations and still travel whenever I can.
I have a huge soft spot for all things Asia—from hidden beaches and vibrant street food to rich cultures, beautiful traditions, animals in their natural habitats, and the soulful people who make every destination unforgettable.
I’m passionate about hosting holidays that feel effortless and joyful. Evie’s trips are exactly that! Whether you’re travelling with your kids or flying solo on a women’s trip, I’m here to help make your experience special.
Everyone who comes with us must have travel insurance. I recommend Cover-More insurance – I’ve used them since 1997 when I first went backpacking and they’ve always been amazing with help and quickly paying claims. You can use any insurance company you like – just make sure you read the PDS and make sure you’re well covered.
Please read our Terms and Conditions to ensure you have the best cover as we need everyone to be secure and protected on our trip.
Australians don’t need a visa to the Philippines. If you’re joining us from another country please check your requirements.
Please read The Terms and Conditions here. Then complete our booking form and I’ll be in touch!
