Bespoke group holidays for women and family trips for mums and kids.

Time to connect:
Mum and teen daughter Vietnam retreat

Sunday 19 April 2025 – Saturday 26 April 2025
Eight days

Adult $2400 AUD; Teen $1800 AUD

Are you craving time to connect with your daughter, and want to share something special just for you? This mum and teen daughter trip to Vietnam is perfect for spending time together, sharing new experiences and connecting in a beautiful environment where everything is organised for you. Once you arrive your time is all yours to share with your daughter. No worries, no responsibilities, just good times.

I’m super excited to offer this trip to you, and can’t wait to meet you all in Hoi An, Vietnam.

Everything is organised and paid for –  so you have time to connect

Once you land in Vietnam just about everything is included in your trip. From airport transfers to all meals and accommodation, and all our fabulous activities and transport. All you’ll have to bring is spending money for shopping or anything extra you want to do, and for drinks and snacks you may want to buy. You can find a full list of the inclusions below.

This is because I want mums to have a trip where you’re not the one organising everything. I want you to be able to relax and enjoy and be looked after. And I want this extra time to be spent with your daughter. Connection is so important. And this is the time for you to be free of worry and responsibilities and to just spend the time together.

When Emmie and I were traveling together full time, most days I didn’t have a care in the world. It was just us having fun, exploring and being silly. I felt young and energised again, I didn’t have a to do list in the back of my mind I was constantly scanning. It was the best time!

I want this for you too.

We’re staying in a beautiful hotel just footsteps from the beach – I’ve booked it all out so it’s ours – with a lovely pool and gorgeous rooms.

I’ve organised lots of fun activities to do together, from bike riding through rice paddies and a cooking class, to pottery, leather wallet making, beach time and yoga, lantern releasing and so much more. And there’s lots of food, delicious meals at some of Hoi An and An Bang’s most fabulous family owned restaurants and an afternoon at our favourite beach bar – right on the sand, with a swimming pool and cabanas. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon while the girls all hang out. Plus, there’s a surprise at our farewell beach party and so much more.

When is it?

The trip starts on Saturday 19 April and finishes on Saturday 26 April 2025. I suggest flying in a day earlier to get over the travel tiredness, and can add an extra room night on for you, or you can stay a night in Da Nang (where you’ll fly into)  if you like or in the beautiful Ancient City of Hoi An.

What is included?

Once you land in Da Nang almost everything is included:

Where are we staying?

We are staying in a beautiful hotel just footsteps from An Bang Beach. I’ve booked the whole hotel, it’s just beautiful and has a lovely pool and is surrounded by colourful bougainvillea. We call the staff here our friends, and just love spending time with them. It’s a fabulous space to stay at and it’s all ours.

Flights

Our trips are land only so you will need to book your flight into Da Nang, Vietnam. You can search for the best prices on Skyscanner or go direct to airlines.

You must arrive before the trip starts – just let me know your arrival time so I can arrange your transfer. There are many ways to get there – you can fly through Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

With VietJet and Bamboo Airlines now flying direct from Australia to Ho Chi Minh and then onto Da Nang, you can find flights for as little as $500 return. I’ve flown with VietJet and love them, and friends have flown bamboo and say the same. Currently you can book full service airlines like Singapore for around $1000 return per person.

When is it?

Saturday 19 April 2025 – Saturday 26 April 2025. I suggest arriving a day or two earlier if you can to adjust to the timezone and get over any travel tiredness!

Are there age or other restrictions?

This is a mum and tween teen daughter trip, so daughters need to be aged around 11/12 and up 🙂

About Me

I’m Evie, I’m a travel obsessed solo mum who loves helping other mums travel and explore the world with – and without – their kids. Emmie and I travelled the world full time for years, and lived in Hoi An. We just love it there and have developed a program for you to make sure you have all the time you need to focus on and connect with your daughter.

I will be leading this trip and be with you every step of the way on the ground.

Insurance

Everyone who comes with us must have travel insurance. I recommend Cover-More insurance  – I’ve used them since 1997 when I first went backpacking and they’ve always been amazing with help and quickly paying claims. You can use any insurance company you like – just make sure you read the PDS and make sure you’re well covered.

Please read our Terms and Conditions to ensure you have the best cover as we need everyone to be secure and protected on our trip.

Visas

You will need to organise your visa before you fly. We do it online here which is much cheaper than going to the consulate. Print your visa when you get it. You will need to show it at check in and when you arrive into Vietnam.

Terms and Conditions

Please read The Terms and Conditions here. Then complete our booking form and pay your deposit!
