As a solo mum I’ve found Club Med is just the best way for Emmie and I to have an amazing holiday. We have so much fun together, and we also get to have time apart. I don’t have to think of ANYTHING, except what food to choose, or whether to do aqua fitness or lay in the hammock for a bit longer.

We will be traveling to the stunning Club Med Kani (you won’t believe the colour of the water here) where we will enjoy the most amazing all-inclusive experience with new friends and family. The Club Med experience really is like no other, and everything is included so all you have to do is have an incredible time.
And there’s amazing entertainment every night with performances and dancing. It is so much fun!
And while we’re there, your holiday can be as flexible as you like. Each day we will have a list of optional activities to take part in and you can watch your kids have so much fun as they trapeze, learn to snorkel, perform in the evening show, dance the night away or play at the pool parties.
While they’re off having fun, you can join me at the beach or you might prefer to swim, snorkel, swing in a hammock or walk around the island.
We’ll have tables set up to eat meals together – or you can dine with new friends and kids, it is completely up to you.

Prices quoted are the superior beachfront rooms – if you wish to upgrade to an overwater bungalow just let me know when you book and I’ll get back to you with prices.
Our trips are land only so you will need to book return flights to Male. You can book your own flights or I can recommend a travel agent to find you flight. You can choose from multiple carriers via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Colombo. The best time to book flights is between eight – 12 months before your travel dates. Expect to pay an average of around $1000 per person depending on your departure point.
You can set up alerts on Skyscanner to help you find the best deals and so you know when pricing has dropped. Then book direct with the airline or through Skyscanner itself.
Transfers are additional and are by speed boat. It’s about a 40 minute ride from Male. You’ll be met by Club Med representatives at the airport and looked after and escorted to your transfer. So exciting!
Please note that Kids Club is for ages 4 and up only.

Everyone who comes with us must have travel insurance. I recommend Cover-More insurance – I’ve used them since 1997 when I first went backpacking and they’ve always been amazing with help and quickly paying claims. You can use any insurance company you like – just make sure you read the PDS and make sure you’re well covered.
