Thursday 22 - Tuesday 27 October 2026
$4940 AUD solo
Six Days Five Nights
PERFECT FOR: Solos, mums and daughters, friends

I am so excited about this fabulous trip to Hong Kong – curated by my Hong Kong expat bestie Raili of Last Minute Luxury, this is a luxe experience that will take you from sipping champagne on an elegant red-sailed junk on Victoria Harbour to free-flow Veuve Cliquot at Aqua’s iconic Japanese and Italian brunch overlooking the city, an evening dining at the exclusive China Club through to a delicious sunset dinner at Lamma Island’s waterfront Terracotta restaurant…and there’s so much more because we like to explore local as well as being luxe.

Eat dumplings, egg tarts and dim sum and ride the Ding Ding trams through the city, hike around The Peak for stunning views over the city and take the beloved tram back to the city, crisscross the Harbour on the Star Ferry and pop over into China to shop til you drop at Shenzen. We will head out to catch the cable car to Lantau Island and visit the Giant Buddha and have lunch in the pink room at the beautiful Madame Fu.

We are staying at the stunning Hari Hong Kong which is the only way to do it when you’re visiting the Pearl of the Orient! Because after a long day of being fabulous it’s important to return home to fancy quarters.

Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrive in Hong Kong!

Arrive into Hong Kong and check into the Hari Hotel. Explore the city, maybe wander down to Causeway Bay or to the local street markets.

In the evening, meet Evie on the terrace for a cocktail and nibbles.

Otherwise, rest before the start of our adventure tomorrow.

DAY 2: The Peak, Hong Kong Central, China Club Dinner

Start the day with a fabulous Welcome Breakfast at the Hari Hong Kong.

Meet your new friends and travel partners who you will already be familiar with from our Facebook group. Get ready to hike around the Peak and enjoy the stunning views over the city and Hong Kong Harbour. Enjoy dumplings at the top before taking the tram back down the mountain and exploring Central with its shops and bars and world’s longest escalator!

Dinner tonight is at the exclusive China Club, so dress up for cocktails on the rooftop before enjoying fine dining and the noodle show!

After dinner we will cruise Victoria Harbour with champagne on a fabulous red sailed Chinese junk.

Day 3: Bubbly brunch, Star Ferry and dimsum

Enjoy your breakfast at the Hari Hotel.

Depart for the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui and wander down the Avenue of the Stars to Aqua for our bubbly brunch and free flow Veuve champagne overlooking the city. This is an incredible experience with the most delicious food including huge plates of delicious sashimi! Afterwards, wander outside to the terrace for live music and cocktails. If you’re up to it we can stop at a few bars and dimsum on the way home.

Day 4: Let’s go to China: Shenzen shopping trip!

After breakfast we will set off to Shenzen and a big shopping day. Handbags, sunglasses and prescription glasses, shoes, clothes and so much more!  Bring empty luggage to fill (if there’s anything in particular that you’re after we can make sure it’s there in advance!)

We’ll have a dim sum lunch before heading home with all our goodies, and catch up a few hours later for some local dinner.

DAY 5: Lantau Island Giant Buddha, Lamma Island adventure and dinner at Terracotta

After breakfast we will set off for Lantau Island and the cable car pu to see the giant Tien Tan Buddha and Po Lin monastery before retuning to the hotel.

Later today we will set off on a ferry to the beautiful Lamma Island. After walking the waterfront we will have a sunset dinner at the stunning Terracotta Lamma before returning to the city.

DAY 6: Farewell lunch at Madame Fu, Explore Tai Kwun Heritage Compound, Home

Today we have breakfast at the Hari and brunch in the Pink Room at the stunning Madame Fu du Chinois. Explore the gorgeous colonial buildings and even squeeze in a little more shopping before we set off for home.

WHO I AM

I’m Evie, I’m a travel obsessed solo mum who loves helping women travel and explore the world with – and without – their kids. You can check out my travels at www.mumpacktravel.com or at my Instagram page at @mumpacktravel

WHERE ARE WE STAYING?

We will be staying at the stunning Hari Hong Kong, a luxury five star hotel in the heart of Hong Kong. The Hari lives between commercial Causeway Bay and the artistic neighbourhood of Wan Chai and it’s so easy to get anywhere from here! The rooms are gorgeous and the terrace, restaurant and bar are stunning and private. It is a luxurious base and also serves as a resting point for us in between activities with the spacious lobby and terrace.

I recently returned home from the girls' trip to Vietnam & wish I could go back! Evie planned an amazing combination of activities & relaxation time. We had so many laughs & I made great friends and memories. It exceeded all my expectations.

Make new friends and have the best time together!

.Raili and I have worked hard to create a fabulously luxe itinerary that will have you packing your fancy dresses and getting ready for the ball!

This trip really is for everyone – come alone, come with friends, come with your mum or daughter or sister. I just want to make you have the best fun in this incredible city so you go home with memories to last you until your next trip.

I am so thrilled to be sharing such an incredible Hong Kong experience with you. We will visit the giant Buddha on Launtau Island, try fabulous dimsum, pineapple tarts and yum cha and we will even travel in China to shop shop shop. My Shenzen trip transformed me and Raili knows all the best places to shop at for handbags, glasses, prescription glasses, clothes, scarves and more. I can’t wait to get back!

I’ve been craving a city trip for so long – a holiday where I could dress up and feel fabulous and live the life I know I deserve! Well, champagne on a red-sailed junk on Victoria Harbour gazing up at the city’s incredible skyline certainly made me feel like that, and the vibe of Hong Kong is just so special – you feel it as you trundle along on the Ding Ding Trams or cross the harbour on the Star Ferry. It’s everywhere!

I know as we get older sometimes it can be hard to find friends to travel with – and this is why my trips are so important: they connect us all to new friends, lots of laughs and enduring friendships. They make us feel good again, alive. HAPPY!

I want this for you and I hope you can join me.

Everyone who comes with us must have travel insurance. I recommend Cover-More insurance  – I’ve used them since 1997 when I first went backpacking and they’ve always been amazing with help and quickly paying claims. You can use any insurance company you like – just make sure you read the PDS and make sure you’re well covered.

Please read our Terms and Conditions to ensure you have the best cover as we need everyone to be secure and protected on our trip.
