Bespoke group holidays for women and family trips for mums and kids.

Join me on an amazing Women’s Adventure in Cambodia

Friday 22 – Saturday 30 November 2024

$3290 AUD per person private room

All inclusive once you arrive in Cambodia

I absolutely love Cambodia and I’m a thrilled to be guiding this carefully curated women’s adventure to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in November 2024. Filled with meaningful experiences and luxurious touches, this memorable escape will fill your cup and leave you with a happy heart. My first Cambodia trip in November 2023 was a fabulous experience with incredible women, and this will be just the same.

Cambodia is the land of wonder, a country with a fascinating ancient heritage and a modern history so rich in art, music and architecture it was known as the Pearl of the Orient. The genocide brought upon the Khmer people by Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979 was devastating for the Khmer people who are rebuilding even now.  Against this backdrop of destruction and heartbreak, you will find the biggest hearts and smiles and create a lifelong connection.

In Siem Reap we will explore the the temples of Angkor, watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat and explore the gorgeous waterfalls of Kulen Mountain and visit the 1000 Linga River.

We will cruise on the stunning Tonle Sap and see the stilted river houses, visit the incredible Hero Rat museum, meet a local artist and create our own artwork and support the disadvantaged youth who perform in the Phare Circus.

We will eat local food ate hospitality training restaurants, including Haven, visit a lotus farm and do a pottery class. If you like, you can join me in donating blood at the Cambodia Children’s Hospital and maybe even give karaoke a crack in one of the decadent Khmer karaoke houses.

During our time in Phnom Penh we will stay in a centrally located, beautiful boutique hotel with a fab rooftop pool  and explore the city, learning about its history, religion and architecture. We will visit the Royal Palace and Golden Pagoda, cafes, riverfront restaurants and rooftop cocktail bars, support upcoming local artists and visit the local markets.

You’ll have time to explore and relax, and will enjoy a holiday experience abundant in culture, connection and experience.

When is it?

This tour is from 22 – 30 November 2024 when the rainy season has passed and the weather is warm and dry.

What is included?

Once you land in Cambodia almost everything is included:

Where are we staying?

We are staying at four star+ hotels in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap that are really beautiful, have swimming pools and are in central locations. We will stay in private rooms, and breakfast will be provided each day. In Siem Reap we will use the Driver Srei team of lady drivers (supporting solo mums and working women). My sister and I both know tuk tuk drivers we will use in Phnom Penh and will share details for easily getting around should you wish to step out and explore in your free time.

Flights

Our trips are land only so you will need to book your flight into Phnom Penh and out from Siem Reap. This is known as an open jaw or multi city ticket. You can search for the best prices on Skyscanner or go direct to airlines.

While we’ve left the flight bookings to you, you must arrive in Phnom Penh before the tour starts – just let me know your arrival time so I can arrange your transfer. You’ll depart from Siem Reap – an afternoon flight is best if possible, or you might wish to stay longer! Let me know and I can extend your room.

From Australia you can fly with Air Asia, Singapore Airlines, Scoot, Thai Airways and many others, and from other countries there should also be many options as you will fly through one of the major hubs like Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok or Singapore. I suggest looking on Skyscanner for the cheapest options and then checking on the airlines website. I’m happy to help with flights.

When is it?

Friday 22 November to Saturday 30 November 2024. Please arrive into Phnom Penh by the early evening on the 22nd as we have a welcome dinner, and depart on the 30th from Siem Reap. I suggest arriving a day or two earlier if you can to adjust to the timezone and get over any travel tiredness! And feel free to stay on – I can chat about add-ons for you to enjoy.

Are there age or other restrictions?

This is a women only trip and EVERYONE is welcome! There are no age restrictions or any requirements – it is all about having a great time together in a supportive environment.
